Examinations enable you to earn credit through testing.
The examination is developed and administered by a Quinsigamond faculty
member who is recommended by the appropriate instructional dean.
You cannot challenge a course if proficiency examinations such as CLEP
After a successful challenge exam, the course credit and a grade of
“P” is recorded on your transcript.
However, the credits are not computed in your grade point average.
A Challenge Examination cannot be taken for the following purposes:
To expunge a failure in a course at QCC or elsewhere;
2. To attempt to raise a low grade in a course completed at QCC
To erase a previously obtained unsatisfactory score on any of the subject
To successfully challenge a course at QCC, you must receive a score of "C" or higher. You are not given a letter grade for a challenge; rather a “P” (pass) will be noted on your transcript. Program restrictions apply.
